Jason Miller

Jason Miller is the founder and director of Pink Ladies Futsal Club. He has been coaching futsal since its Massachusetts inception in 1999 and has won numerous league and tournament championships. But what he is most proud of as a futsal coach is that every futsal player has improved immensely, made new friends and had a lot of fun.

In addition to being the club’s head coach, Jason is also the Director of Futsal for Massachusetts Futsal and the girls varsity soccer coach at Lincoln-Sudbury. Jason is the former girls director of the U.S. Youth Futsal I.D. Program and National Teams and coached the U16 girls National Team in Canada and Colombia.

A native of Lexington, Jason holds a U.S. Youth Futsal National coaching certificate, a USSF National “C” coaching license and a USSF/NSCAA Level One Goalkeeping license. He has additionally been involved with the Winchester, Lexington and Nashoba girls high school programs, served as District Select girls coach for 11 years and administrator for four. Jason also served 14 years as lead professional coach for Concord-Carlisle Youth Soccer, four years as Director of Player and Coach Development for Lexington Youth Soccer and three years as a club soccer coach with Sachems FC. Jason is an experienced USSF soccer and futsal referee who has previously worked for the Boston Breakers and the Olympic Development Program.

He is a former fifth-grade, sixth-grade, and special education teacher and has a B.A. in Journalism from Ithaca College and a M.Ed. from Lesley University. In addition to his soccer and futsal attentions, Jason works as a counselor at Camp Sewataro in Sudbury and previously served as girls high school basketball coach at Gann Academy in Waltham. He resides in Sudbury where his four-year-old son Grey is the center of his universe.

Daniela De Sousa

Known as “Coach D” to most, her passion for the game and for coaching young girls is unrivaled. Daniela serves as a head coach for Burlington Youth Soccer’s girls teams and is a volunteer assistant coach with the Lincoln-Sudbury girls varsity soccer team. Her former posts include the Mass Youth Soccer District Select girls soccer program, Concord-Carlisle Youth Soccer and the Burlington High School subvarsity girls.

A recipient of a U.S. Youth Futsal National coaching certificate — and the first woman to earn that distinction — Daniela is on the U.S. Youth Futsal regional coaching staff.

A former coach at Boston Latin School and Hamden High School, Daniela graduated from Quinnipiac University with a Masters in Education and currently teaches Spanish at Burlington High School. When not traveling, Coach D resides in Woburn.

Jonathan Barron

Jonathan Barron is back for his sixth season in pink! In additional serving as a member of the Pink Ladies coaching staff, Jon is on the girls soccer coaching staff at the Winsor School in Boston and runs the Lincoln-Sudbury girls soccer team camp. He was formerly the women’s soccer coach at Pine Manor College and the Boston Latin School girls junior varsity soccer coach for eight seasons, while also working for Concord-Carlisle Youth Soccer for several years.

Jonathan grew up in Hanover, NH and grew up playing mostly defense and goalkeeper. He holds a USSF D coaching license and a U.S. Youth Futsal National Level 3 certificate.

Jon graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor’s in Theatre. He is a Major League Player at Comedy Sportz Boston and has performed in theatre productions throughout the East Coast. Jon resides north of Boston with his wife Susannah and his young daughter Isa.
